Work meeting thursday
After lunch the work continues.

Cost of Stay
In Denmark we don´t have the EURO. We still pay with danish kroner (DKK).
Most places you can pay with EURO but only notes and you will get change back in DKK.
It is very easy to change/buy DKK in the airport when arriving. And most places you can pay with VISA.
We will pay for lunch thursday, dinner thursday and lunch friday. All other meals you will have to pay for yourself.
Breakfast is included in the roomrates.
The cost of the bus for the entire stay is 440 dkk/59 euro pr. person. The cost of the bus can be payed to Helle or myself thursday or friday. We will give you a receipt from the buscompany.

by Magasin. Magasin is a rater famous Danish department store. On the
groundfloor there is a sandwich and juice-bar called Joe n´the Juice where we
can have a light lunch. A young Danish guy opened the first one in Copenhagen
5-6 years ago and is now a millionaire many times over with 45 restaurants in
Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Germany, England and Iceland.

Helle and I have been planning it, and I will meet with Rainer (and maybe Louisa) this afternoon in Silkeborg to discuss some details.
We are looking forward to be hosting our first meeting in the new project and are looking forward to be welcoming all 17 of you in our school.

Kastrup - Copenhagen Airport Link
I expect that most of you will be arriving in Kastrup Airport by plain during wedensday.
From the airport there is a train departing from Terminal 3. The train takes you to the centralstation in Copenhagen. From there you will board a train to Skanderborg, where you will board a train to Silkeborg. The whole trip takes about 31/2 - 4 hours. The price for the ticket is about 50 euros.
You can book a ticket on www.dsb.dk
It is possible to fly to Aarhus from Copenhagen, but it is both easier and cheaper to take the train from Kastrup to Silkeborg. Aarhus Airport is situated away from the city and it takes 50 minutes by bus from the airport to the city, where you can board the train to Silkeborg. Aarhus Airport

When you arrive by train to Silkeborg the taxi/busses are just outside. A normal taxi can hold 3-4 persons and the busses 8. The taxaride to the hotel is about 20 euro.
Accomodations
Silkeborg is known for its beautiful lakes and forrest blending into the city. We have a beautiful Hostel right by the lake.... but unfortunately it is all booked for september.
Our suggestion is therefor Scandic Hotel, where Rainer and Louise normally stays when they visit Silkeborg. You can walk to the center of the city in about 30 minutes by foot (and remember it is NOT minus 25 degrees here like it was in Finalnd:-).
I called the hotel and they can accomodate all of you as is looks now. But maybe we shouldn´t wait too long to book if we want to make sure that there are rooms for everyone. You can make your own reservation on their website Hotel Scandic Silkeborg or you can have me make the reservations for you. I will contact you in June on this matter.
