Kastrup - Copenhagen Airport Link
I expect that most of you will be arriving in Kastrup Airport by plain during wedensday.
From the airport there is a train departing from Terminal 3. The train takes you to the centralstation in Copenhagen. From there you will board a train to Skanderborg, where you will board a train to Silkeborg. The whole trip takes about 31/2 - 4 hours. The price for the ticket is about 50 euros.

It is possible to fly to Aarhus from Copenhagen, but it is both easier and cheaper to take the train from Kastrup to Silkeborg. Aarhus Airport is situated away from the city and it takes 50 minutes by bus from the airport to the city, where you can board the train to Silkeborg.

When you arrive by train to Silkeborg the taxi/busses are just outside. A normal taxi can hold 3-4 persons and the busses 8. The taxaride to the hotel is about 20 euro.
Accomodations
Silkeborg is known for its beautiful lakes and forrest blending into the city. We have a beautiful Hostel right by the lake.... but unfortunately it is all booked for september.
Our suggestion is therefor Scandic Hotel, where Rainer and Louise normally stays when they visit Silkeborg. You can walk to the center of the city in about 30 minutes by foot (and remember it is NOT minus 25 degrees here like it was in Finalnd:-).
I called the hotel and they can accomodate all of you as is looks now. But maybe we shouldn´t wait too long to book if we want to make sure that there are rooms for everyone. You can make your own reservation on their website
